KIP -Knowledge is Power
Dear Shaded Viewers,
KIP made by Dalits. I've written about KIP before on this blog. Many of us are not aware that the cast system still exists in India, Dalits is another name for untouchables. Every thirty minutes a Dalit is agressed and every day 3 women are raped and 2 are killed. KIP is an association that supports the Dalits. THe collection is produced by them .
The collection will be presented at KIP AT PITTI UOMO - Florence 22-25 June 2005, KIP at PREMIUM - Berlin 22-24 July and KIP at PICK AND MIX - Paris 2-5 September. Visit the site and support their cause.
