DINO DINCO : FORKING AROUND FROM LOS ANGELES
Despite offering to J. Crew my freshly washed Black Labrador ("Joe"), they said that she was too fat and that they would have to hire extra guys to carry her to the slaughterhouse van. Drat. I was looking forward to seeing (parts of) her accessorizing one of their winter coats. Plus, I could just click on the J. Crew website and she what she was up to...
You know, it's true what they say about pets: they're not just for Christmas (and for lining winter gloves).... they're for life.
Here are the entries thus far from my informal Open Call for THE CUTEST PLASTIC CARRY-OUT FORK.
Neils Wiersma was first to submit a couple of forks, one wooden (below), the other plastic (above). Fork origin: unknown.
This fork was submitted by photographer, Sonny V. I'm almost positive that Sonny and I met as speakers at anina.net's Nokia / 360 Fashion Blogging and Fashion Conference in Paris.
Fork origin: unknown
This fork / spork is made of dried pasta and was submitted by graphic designer (and old friend of mine), Richard Hansen of San Francisco.
Fork origin: Milan, Italy
Antwerp's Ninette Murk claims that "Belgians Do It Better" with this fork / fry cone combo. I could be easily persuaded.
Fork origin: Belgium
Thanks to all the above for their fork submissions and looking forward to seeing what else rolls in...
Tine to go for now...

Dear Dinko, I've not been very cyber at all but just got to my site and I am in love with the pasta fork and the great entries. You are the best. Kisses from New Zealand, Diane

Yeah, I was there at the conference, although we didn't really meet properly, as I was quickly trying to get a mouthfull of food before trying to beat Diane to the next show somewhere in Paris :-)
