Miguel Villalobos and Graham Taber on the 4th of July

Dear Shaded Viewers,

I got way behind in my schedule today and never lived up to my planning but I did have a nice meeting with Piet Paris and Joffrey Moolhuizen at my favorite Japanese tea salon. Instead of going to the volumes of parties scheduled for this evening or to dinner with friends, I took the decision to be 'sage' and dedicate the evening to finishing up on my jury report for +46, I have to judge 21 dossiers and choose the 8 best Swedish designers.

Earlier in the day I met with Piet Paris and Joffrey. I was suffering from the heat and decided to order an amazing desert made from macha tea and red haricots. I think I will be as addicted to this for summer as I am to their Macha hot chocolate for the winter.It's like nothing that you ever tasted before unless, of course, you are Japanese.

Miguel Villalobos asked me if we could meet today so that he could take my photo and since he was taking mine, I decided to turn the camera on him and his boyfriend Graham from Inside Fly .
