The last person I saw when I was leaving India was my dear friend Robb Young

Michael O'Brien and I love Toraya, we are also convinced that they do the best windows in Paris

Vincent Gagliostro and I went to see the David Lynch exhibit, highly recommended

Claude Sabbah invited me to a birthday dinner of his good friend the lovely Arlette Kettner at Mori and afterwards I went ever so briefly to Maxims where Claude was hosting the evening and being the dj

On my way home I ran into a Shaded Viewer, Baptiste da Silva, and his two friends and they were kind enough to find a taxi for me. You know Paris and the taxi situation...

FOr shoe lovers - debut collection of Rapahel Young

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Who among us does not love shoes? Raphael Young's debut collection is inspired by the 60's hollywood and 80's rock and roll, not so sure how comfortable they are going to be but based on the fact that Raphael comes from a family of shoe designers that created prototypes for Charles Jourdan and Pierre Cardin, I would think and hope that that was a strong consideration.

Fashion from Poland.

UEG is the brainchild of the Polish duo Ania Kuczynska and Michal
Lojewski, one of the country's top graphic designers and founding
member of White Cat Studio.

UEG is a project designed to play on the concept of consumption, using
the language of symbols and icons to remind the wearer of the
inconsistency of today's existence, how everything literally washes
off of us. The name 'Usa e Getta', in italian means 'use and throw
away'. It is this premise of desirable objects designed to deteriorate
that drives the whole project.

Cameron Silver in the New Yorker by Dana Goodyear

My copy of the New Yorker arrived today, thank you Beniamino, and I am still smiling reading the article on Cameron Silver by Dana Goodyear. Wonderful article, beautiful human being.

That is Cameron in the middle and his partner Jeff Snyder on the right. The photo was taken at the amazing welcome to LA party that Cameron and Jeff hosted for You Wear it Well's debut in Los Angeles.

Blooming Sakura

It is cold and wet in Paris but in Tokyo it is the moment of Sakura, the flowers live for one week and they bloomed yesterday. Everyone is smiling and it is picnic time in Tokyo.
