Last week in New York: Andy Warhol's Double Marlon party, Ron Galella's Warhol book party, and Albert Maysles Scrapbook launch at John Bartlett. By Glenn Belverio

Dear Shaded Viewers,
It was quite a week in New York with a plethora of openings, rivers of champagne (and shrimp!), and a parade of legends mixing with the pretty kiddies. As Halston was wont to say, "Oh sweeticakes, I'm just pooped!" First up was the Christie's party for Warhol's Double Marlon in the penthouse suite of the Soho Grand Hotel hosted by People's Revolution.
Jeremy Scott and model. Is it Sprouse or is it Scott?
Next night I was off to the Ron Galella opening at Staley-Wise gallery...
Ron and Andy. Ron's new book is called "That's Great!" and is a terrific collection of Warhol-themed photos. A must for any photo-obsessed collector's collection.
Me and Ron's wife, Betty Galella, at dinner after the opening. Betty religiously reads A Shaded View on Fashion but claims she was "too intimidated" to attend my party for Diane in March. Maybe next time, Betty!
It's fun to play at the YMCA! Me and Randy Jones of the Village People
The next night I stopped by John Bartlett's cool store for a book signing by Grey Gardens director Albert Maysles...
John Bartlett and Bruce Benderson
After the signing, a bunch of us headed over to The Pink Teacup for dinner. Here, stylist Haidee Findlay-Levin digs into some heavenly corn fritters.

Dear Glenn,
I loved this report, I wish that I had been there and ending up at the Pink Teacup, that is longevity. Great to see the director of Grey Gardens, one of my all time fave films. Miss you. xxxDiane
