I met Bastien de Almeida last Christmas chez Rick Owens. We had a nice conversation about our mutual friend, Mr. Pearl. In fact Bastien wears Mr. Pearl corsets. He has just opened a boutique of vintage clothes inspired by Hollywood Glamour icons. 

All the pieces are carefully selected for their quality and for the way the clothing sculpts the body. When you meet the owner, Bastien de Almeida, all falls into place, he's a modern day dandy. In addition to the collection of dreamy vintage pieces, Sylvain Maury collaborates with Bastien by putting together an incredible corner of rare books and DVD's on the universe of fashion the the mood of music hall. 

If that were not enough, Bastien is also planning to give a course in couture and draping.
