Touch me
It's about some folk who touched me during the last few months.
They entered into my life by accident or I heard about them through their work.
These people mean a lot to me and I wanted to make a tribute to them in my own way.
Getting touched, really touched by somebody is such a rare feeling for me.
I want to capture these moments.
I want this feeling to last forever and I want to share it with you.------------------------------------------

John Baldessari The Giacometti Variations opening at Fondazione Prada Milano text by Stefania Seoni, photos courtesy of Fondazione Prada and Antonio Mucci
Dear Diane , dear shaded viewers yesterday there was the opening of the John Baldessari exhibition at Fondazione Prada Milano. The project is curated by Germano Celant and exposes nine sculptures made of resin, steel and bronze.
When Baldessari was interviewed by the curator Germano Celant he said: “I've always wanted to do tall paintings and sculptures. I suspect it's because I am quite tall.. My plan is to elongate standing Giacometti sculptures and clothe them with garments. The idea of extending an extreme yet existing idea to its logical conclusion has been a working method for me."
