IRIS VAN HERPEN RETROSPECTIVE AT THE GRONINGER MUSEUM - TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI PHOTOS BY VINCENT DECHAMPS
Dear Shaded Viewers,
Not many designers can pretend to have had their own retrospective at the age of 27, but there is nothing ordinary about what Iris van Herpen does. The Dutch designer unveiled a major exhibition at the Groninger Museum last night, attracting hundreds of curious visitors and fashion lovers. Iris' work is exceptional, combining intricate handicraft with advanced technology. I was struck by how organic and elegant her pieces looked. This is Future Couture for a new generation.
The retrospective is on until the 23rd of September 2012.

Just got the strongest flash that she should do a collaboration with the CHapman Brothers.
