Dear Shaded Viewers,

I enjoyed attending the opening of "Axelle Red Fashion Victim", the last exhibition unveiled by Modemuseum in Hasselt. Privileging original ideas and unexpected concepts, the museum decided to focus on a "living wardrobe", giving the Belgian singer a large platform to showcase her gems. Despite having enjoyed mainstream success within the music world, Red always went for avant-garde and unknown designers, with a soft spot for fellow Belgians. Didier Vervaeren curated the show, pulling out the most important pieces. There were some iconic looks on display, ranging from the likes of Helmut Lang, Martin Margiela or Véronique Leroy, with whom Red has had a long relationship. Here are some of the evening's highlights and familiar faces.
