BYREDO - Ben Gorham creator of perfumes

Dear Shaded Viewers,

On one of my trips to Stockholm a few years ago I met Ben Gorham. I was there as a jury member for +46 and the ex-Basketball player turned perfumer, was my personal guide. Berns, the old world hotel where I was staying was kitted out with all of his Swedish fragrance/home ammenities line which were quite exotic and included a black soap, a lovely body lotion and a shampoo and conditioner. He calls his products "alternative fragrances for the modern mind."

Ben Gorham - byredo line of fragrances and candles

Dear Shaded Viewers,

The other day Swedish fragrance/home ammenities designer, Ben Gorham was in town to present his new collection of perfumes and candles. We met at his hotel and then afterwards went to lunch at Marriages Freres.

As much as I'd like to show you his website, it seems to be under construction so instead , I'll show you his tattoos.

It is interesting when you think that Ben Gorham used to be a star basketball player and now, in a strange turn of events, he is making perfumes.
