My apologies for the missing posts and on the bright side Snoopy dancing to Paninaro by the Pet SHop Boys and styled by Katie Grand on Show Studio
Dear Shaded VIewers,
Typepad has been having problems. All should be back up and running any time now. All the best, DIane
WHen I finally got home last night much poorer, exhausted and in a rotten mood after a very long train ride that stopped on the tracks for the famous suspicious package, my train mate, Robin Schulie, sent me the link for Katie Grand's dancing Snoopy and it did the trick. I think I'll watch it a few more times this morning until I find myself happy and smiling again.

Thanks Katie and Show Studio.

Vellemagazine.com
Dear Shaded Viewers,
I enjoy reading the thoughts for the day as well as looking at the intriguing images on Vellemagazine.com. Here are a few from Velle's principal photographer, Leonard Rocco Greco. You might imagine, I have always loved Madonna's and today being the anniversary of my Dad's death ... I know that I've said it before but I really believe it, people only die when you forget them.

For the new year Velle will be strengthening its fashion features with the introduction of their new fashion production team, Blood Daggers. Also, this spring they are opening a fashion exhibition in Boston where they are based at Studio Soto.

Moving Fashion on Show Studio with Gareth Pugh and your photographic submissions for Nick Knight's shoot with Antony and the Johnsons photo shoot tomorrow
Dear Shaded Viewers,
As you probably already know, Showstudio.com is one of my favorite sites. Current projects include MOVING FASHION and at the moment they are preparing for Nick Knights shoot with Antony and the Johnsons where they have an open call for photographs to be incorporated into the shoot.
a few stills from Gareth Pugh's MOVING FASHION where he has a copy of Vogue running around the roof top of the WOWWOW squat. It is very energetic and a good way to wake up.http://www.showstudio.com/projects/movingfashion/movies/index.php/2005/11/30.
Penny Martin explains the Open Submissions project: "The concept for the portrait shoot is that the best images we receive will actually be projected onto Antony. So by contributing, not only will you have the chance to show your work to Nick and Antony and the Johnsons, you might just have some presence in the final printed story. Now, don't say we're not good to you, readers! The only condition is, of course, that the artwork must be your own."
these funereal curtains from Peter Bannan in Christchurch, New Zealand. I like the fact that I just posted an image from my Campbell Live experience in New Zealand and these great funeral curtains come from NZ as well.
Gareth's film is up till midnight today and Nick's shoot is tomorrow.
Take care,
Diane
