Nobuyoshi Araki - on Pink, a film that he'd rather forget
Dear Shaded Viewers, Another rough style sound byte with Nobuyoshi Araki. Of course I asked him if he would consider making films, he made one once, Pink, he's not so happy with it. He prefers taking photographs and being in the moment as opposed to the amount of energy that is required in making a film.

Nobuyoshi Araki - the model question, do you ever use anyone more than once?
Dear Shaded Viewers,I bring you another low fi video with the amazing Nobuyoshi Araki. I asked Araki if he ever used the same models more than once. He used to but not any more with the exception of his girlfriend, the beautiful KaoRi. That is her looking through the polaroids from his latest shoot. Akiko Hamaoka is translating for her friend Araki.

Dear Shaded Viewers,
Film by : Charo González and Jorge Margolles for Txell Miras
A year ago November I co-curated a fashion and photography festival with : Charo González and Jorge Margolles in the amazing city of Santiago de Compostela. Robb Young did the press and I remember with great pleasure walking through the setting for this film. I was thinking of posting this on October 31st. Charo plays the Black Angel haunting the beautiful cemetary at Santiago de Compostela.

Black Heart by Ada Bligaard Soby
Dear Shaded Viewers,
Ada Bligaard Soby sent me her film a little while ago and I've watched it again and again. I love the characters, the way they are filmed, the use of the archival footage and above all the NYC energy that pours out of the film.
