Gabrielle Hammil is the woman with the bag on the top right of the image, she is the one that had the great house in the casbah in Tanger. We are taking our daily walk through the casbah. I am with our actor friend Geoffrey Carey. One day Mario Testino saw us walking through the casbah and asked if he could take our photo. I told him that the next day we were going to Chachaun and that we did not have much time but he arranged to meet us before we left because he really wanted the photo. He said dress as you are today. No problem for me but Geoffrey decided to wear white trousers instead of black. He asked me what I thought and I said black looked better. He did not know who Mario Testino was in the first place and when Mario saw the white trousers he was a bit disappointed. He took the image anyway. Sitting in a cafe in the medina was Eric Traore wondering who these people were that Mario Testino was running in front of snapping images. Of course I will never see the photo.
